Position Summary

Purpose of the job:
Enable the maintenance process in the area of responsibility within the principles of QCDSM.
Required outputs: Functional
Manage, control and maintain equipment in area of responsibility
Safety management and risk assessment
Ensure that COPs and SOPs are understood and adhere to
Maintenance of surface medium voltage equipment
Medium voltage switchgear maintenance
Transformer maintenance
Ring main units installation and maintenance
Execute RCM on equipment
Implement continuous improvement through OE principles
General
Ensure maximum availability and reliability of equipment
Conformance to all legal, statutory and Sasol requirements
Provide specific expertise and coaching and training with regard to complex repairs
Adhere to ISO standards
Job Requirements
Qualifications and expertise required (Must)
Matric /N3 / Grade 12 or higher
Qualified Electro Mechanic
Valid Red Ticket or able to obtain one
Specific experience required
Proven experience of medium voltage power reticulation
Proven experience in equipment maintenance and installation (electrical)
